Confit of interest with Crown Attorneys prosecuting a court case
editQuestion: Does a presiding Crown Attorney have to recluse themselves from a court case if he/she has acted for the accused who is now charged with an offence and has had that Crown Attorney act as his lawyer in previous years. Would that be a conflict of interest; for example the person didn't pay he/she legal bill and he/she became the Crown and is now acting as the prosecutor against him? 74.15.21.157 (talk) 16:44, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
