Conflicting information
editIn the career section of the article it says that she was the First woman to conferred a Doctorate in Science from an Indian university, whereas in the second point of the Awards and Recognition Section it says she was the second, I tried looking it up on the internet but found conflicting information. I do not have the book which was cited as the source of this information. Dated: 23 Sep 2017

Update, page is protected until September 24th. CaptainGummyBearz (talk) 16:33, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
Citizens of?
editThere is a continuing issue of a false citizenship. It is possible that her pioneering work was done when she was a citizen of British-India. As such it might be more apt to describe her as from 'South Asia' or South Asian Subcontinent.
There is a huge difference in human quality as one changes citizenship from British-India to India.

I would like to make a small change to improve the grammar (I have an MPhil in English Literature from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in History from the University of St Andrews). I would like to change "a brilliant person in fields of chemistry" to "a brilliant chemist". RunsWritesCode (talk) 11:56, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
