I propose merging South Asians in the Netherlands into Asians in the Netherlands is too brief and lacks sufficient references to warrant being a standalone article. LeónGonsalvesofGoa (talk) 04:05, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
- Strongly oppose: I wrote both those articles and I don't see how the history of Dutch South Asians could fit in this article due to it being a subgroup. The Netherlands also has the second largest South Asian diaspora after the UK, which is what interested me in writing it in the first place and the demographical differences with the majority being Indo-Caribbean. Instead op adding merge tags I think it would be better to expand the articles and maybe write articles about other Dutch Asian subgroups like Southeast or East Asians in the Netherlands. - Oppose - I think the South Asian article should stay separate. However, the independent articles (such as Indians in the Netherlands, etc) should be merged into the South Asian article. Qalb alasid (talk) 19:17, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
