I recommend that Siege of Ruad be merged into this one. There's really not enough information to support two entirely separate articles. Also "Siege of Ruad" is leaning towards original research, since it's not really a major term used by historians. Wikipedia should be following the lead of outside sources, not trying to initiate names for battles. --Elonka17:59, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
I agree that it's a notable event, I just don't think it's worthy of a separate article at this time. I'd still recommend keeping it all at Ruad for now, and then if the article does grow to a much larger size, it will be easy enough to split out a separate "Siege" article at that time. --Elonka22:11, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Can anyone check that source? It seems pretty starkly at odds with the others. It seems they just struck their coins with their first initial, though, which makes it hard to clear up. — LlywelynII05:40, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

The hellenistic coins were struck with the inscription ΑΡΑΔΙΩΝ, which Wiktionary suggests means that its base name should be an ι-stem, which Arados doesn't seem to be. Any help? — LlywelynII05:40, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
