Citation issues and additions
editI would like to point out that whoever made previous edits to this article seems to have just copy-pasted their citations if they used information from the same sources multiple times, especially since they did not cite specific page numbers of their article. This has messed up the order of the footnotes, which you can see as you read the article. I am not sure how big of an issue this is and did not want to mess around with this myself, but I'm sure that this could be fixed by going to the source that was referenced and finding the correct pages that the information corresponds to and then editing the citations that were made.
I have also added additional information to the introduction summary, giving the definition of records and the qualities/characteristics that are instrumental to archival science. Additional information was also added to the section on standards detailing how there is no universal stardard that archives follow.
Provenance
editHello!
I would like to add a section on the role of provenance in archival science, and how it relates to the arrangement and description of archival records. I will also briefly trace the history of the concept, and place it in contrast to the historical manuscripts tradition.
Any thoughts on how I should structure this before I post it? Any feedback is much appreciated!

Provenance edit
editI've gone ahead and published a few sections relating the role and development of provenance within archival science. Please feel free to suggest any changes, or add to this discussion in any way!
Preservation edit
editI've added a couple sections on preservation as well as reorganized the organizations section and "In General" section.
