editThe subject has a trivial mention in the citation provided. A simple nomination does not establish WP:N. ----moreno oso (talk) 06:14, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
- For a major award like the Laurence Olivier Award it does. See #8 of WP:Music.4meter4 (talk) 06:17, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
- It's notable upon the win. A nomination is not the same. ----moreno oso (talk) 06:18, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

- Regaurdless, she sang a major role at one of the most prestegious opera houses in the world which also establishes notability. If you disagree, take this to AFD, but I gaurantee you'll be laughed at for nominating it.4meter4 (talk) 06:25, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

- Um, she's sung all over the world if you do a quick internet search. Just take a look at her extensive performance history at operabase.com4meter4 (talk) 06:31, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed. Here's information on her performances of major roles in Washington and Los Angeles, and the latter contains a resume of performances all over Europe. And she's been announced as performing with the San Francisco Opera for the 2010-2011 season. That should be more than enough to establish notability: her engagement by three major companies (including La Scala) for main roles in multiple operas. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 07:22, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
