It is my feeling that Spokoiny is notable solely for being the Executive Director of the Federation CJA. As such, he probably does not merit his own article, and such content as is appropriate should probably be merged into the Federation CJA article. I invite discussion on the matter before I move forward with the merge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiDan61 (talk • contribs) [1]
As much as I think the article is a bit young it merely needs to be improved, i would oppose this on the ground of the subsequent discussions regarding the long form census in Canada (which is a very notable issue) which can easily be found online. In which a letter, signed by Spokoiny, and reported within the Toronto Star and other media outlets was presented to Prime minister Harper of Canada, and Tony Clement [2]. These sources are key; [3]and [4]. The Toronto star article which explicitly says those mentioned on the letter are Top Jewish leaders from across Canada is a reliable and secondary source independednt from the subject. This information has yet to be incorportaed into the article and should be i believe. There are also numerous secondary sources online indicating his opinion as being highly regarded per [5] and others. I invite you to work on this article in the mean time and feel free to add this in whatever way you wish or other facts which are available on the web, but i think the above gives notability Spokoiny as a top jewish leader in Canada and not solely based on being CEO of CJA (which also adds to this) alone. Thanks and happy editing. Ottawa4ever (talk) 17:34, 23 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
