Push-ups
editSo I am new to editing perhaps someone else could assist me. The claim that Chef rush does 2222 pushups a day is a highly disputed claim among Fitness coaches. AnthonyKluska (talk) 21:38, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi AnthonyKluska, welcome to Wikipedia! It does seem like the sourcing isn’t very strong beyond news sources reporting his own claims. It’s also written very promotionally. Are there any reliable sources you know of that dispute his claim? Everything on Wikipedia needs to be a neutral summary of reliable secondary sources. See these pages for more detail: WP:RS WP:NPOV WP:OR (Side note: I reverted your edit because you changed the title of an article in a citation, rather the text on the Wikipedia page.) People on Youtube and elsewhere are free to say as they want to, but any controversy hasn't been covered by reliable sources. Thus, it shouldn't be mentioned. Harizotoh9 (talk) 13:45, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
"Controversy" edit war
edit@185.46.78.5, please discuss here instead of edit warring. Edit warring makes will likely guarantee your contributions will be removed. In this case, there may be justification to include the response of experts to Rush's fitness routine, but only if it's attributed to reliable secondary sources. Are you aware of any reliable sources (not a YouTube video) that analyze Rush's claims? If not, the "Controversy" must be removed, as it is a Biographies of living persons violation. (@Harizotoh9, FYI) POLITANVM talk 23:10, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
In terms of actually building the article, the Associated Press and Clarion Ledger give the most detailed biographies. Rush does seem to make some wonky statements about his physical feats and fitness, but that hasn't been covered by reliable sources as of yet. Harizotoh9 (talk) 07:53, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
Culinary Stafford University?
editRush claims on his website to have graduated from this university. The claim is repeated in this article. But a quick Google search seems to reveal that no such university of that specific name exists. Dawkin Verbier (talk) 15:02, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
