Copy edit section "Intention to treat"

edit
  • "have often" --> "often have" -- fix awkward word order
  • remove 16 instances of unnecessary 'the'
  • "issue" --> "issues" -- fix number agreement
  • "came up" --> "started" -- fix awkward word choice
"started" is better, but not necessarily the best alternative
  • "when...can be obtained, they cannot" --> "when...can be obtained, they cannot" -- separate conditional clause
  • "even not" --> "not even -- fix awkward word order
  • change "Two issues are involved ..." to 2 additional paragraphs following a colon
I hope I have gotten this right -- I am no expert in the field, just a native speaker w/ good grammar skills

"Intention to treat" paragraph

edit

The "Intention to treat analysis" section should be trimmed from this article and relevant information should transferred to its own article here: Intention to treat analysis

Merge and delete proposal

edit

Although this article was created in 2008, it has had less than 100 total edits, has few editors or readers following it, and contains little useful information. We have an article on clinical trials, which is more fully developed and visited (>11,000 views in the past month), and where a user would expect to find information on analysis of clinical trials. Following WP:MERGE, I propose merging useful information and sources to the clinical trial article, and then deleting this article. Editors are invited to comment. I believe this article deserves its own page, see WP:POPULARPAGE and WP:INVOLVE and point 2 of WP:NOTMERGE
A separate existing article needing more content is not a good reason to delete this one. 50.45.170.185 (talk) 16:24, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
