Careful, now
editI'd take that Gardiner quote with a huge pinch of salt - Michael of Albany has an international police warrant open on him for fraud. Those circles also infringe NPOV by having an undeclared freemasonic bias.
Citation Needed?
editI'd love to see some cited evidence for the final paragraph, concerning the story of the children of Tiye as a clear parallel to the Exodus story. Is this also from Gardner? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.43.40.205 (talk) 16:12, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
Identified as Amenhotep, high priest of Amun
editA fabulous paper by William Austin, "The 1104 BC Exodus: for Egyptologists and archaeologists " https://www.academia.edu/74428606/The_1104_BC_Exodus_for_Egyptologists_and_archaeologists "Quoting Artapanus, Eusebius calls the pharaoh who died while Moses was in Midian Chenephres" (Ramses 9)
If Ramses 9, is correct approximate timeline for Moses, then we can look for Contemporaries of Moses around this time: Amminidab and Naason.
https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Amenhotep_(High_Priest_of_Amun) Here is Amenhotep and his brother Nesamon(1 letter difference). They are the correct names in the correct time period. 2601:58B:E7F:8410:1567:57D:D006:81CD (talk) 20:49, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
