Rational for nomination for deletion
editI have nominated the article for Amercian Association of Public Health Physicians(AAPHP) because it does not appear to be a legitimate medical association. It appears to be an an activist group who's main purpose is to block any tobacco legislation. The reasons why this does not appear to be a credible group are as follows:
- After many searches on various search engines and news media for references to the activities of the AAPHP, I can not find any quality articles, except for opinion articles criticising tobacco legislation. The articles that I did find with reference to the AAPHP were not found on any neutral websites or any well-known and reputed websites (such as websites associated with newspapers or award-winning websites).
- a lot of the references listed on the Wikipedia website don't even mention the American Association of Public Health Physicians and a great deal of the information on the Wikipedia article can't be verified on even the AAPHP website.DivaNtrainin (talk) 02:30, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
Second the motion
editThe AAPHP now appears on the "electronic cigarette" wiki claiming that use of them will reduce smoking death by nearly 99%. They are working on a loophole in airline legislation to permit them on planes.Profhum (talk) 14:35, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
