WHO and WHAT is she??
editThe first paragraph of this article says:
- Alice Lenshina was born Alice Mulenga Mubisha (1920, Kasomo, Northern Rhodesia – 1978) in the Chinsali district of the northern province of Northern Rhodesia. Alice was the name she was given at baptism, while Mulenga was her traditional African name. The name "Lenshina" was a Bemba form of the Latin word "regina", which means "queen".
This gives absolutely no clue what she's noted for! Is she a novelist? Is she a scientist? Is she a singer? What? Michael Hardy (talk) 03:52, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
Cult of Revolution
editInteresting that there is no mention of the wholesale civil war and slaughter that she caused. Look at virtually any newspaper from the beginning of August 1964 to read about atrocities committed by her followers. PaulRaunette (talk) 02:11, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
