- According to 92.30.63.246 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), Sonia said Alan lived in Forest Hill in Lewisham. I don't know when that might have been, but it's clear that he no longer lives with Carol, at least. However, Balham would be his last known home if we can't verify his move. - I'm not sure it's worth replacing the picture for a minor guest appearance when he was in the show for four years in the 1990s. It would be pretty unrepresentitive. AnemoneProjectors 23:54, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

As Alan was not a regular when he returned for Billie's funeral surely he shouldn't be described as 'present, regular (departing)'? He is not a departing regular character; a scheduled guest appearance has come to an end. Smurfmeister (talk) 09:14, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
