TimeOut website is down
editThe entire site is down. See http://www.timeout.com/newyork/ -- Ssilvers 19:24, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- Using the link you provided above, I just accessed the site with no problem. However, the link to the Van Peebles article still doesn't work.
- I believe the statement "the musical has had a number of productions since the 2004 revival" would need to refer to sources for "a number of productions," and not just one for a weekends-only staging in a small Manhattan club, to qualify as accurate, so I've made what I think is an appropriate edit. - If you CAN substantiate the statement "It also helped to introduce African American audiences to Broadway," I think you need to reword it. Don't you really mean it introduced Broadway theatre to African-Americans instead of vice versa? ConoscoTutto 19:39, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
"Reception" section?
editThis article should have a section on the critical/public reception of the work. It's not only a standard part of WP articles on artistic works — especially theater and film — but also, this work is so unusual and potentially controversial that the reader wants to know how it was received. - I agree, why not start it? (There are links to some reviews already in the article.)JeanColumbia (talk) 12:44, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
