Contradiction to Kosara of Bulgaria

edit

Were these two actually a same person? It appears that both had born the same children: Theodora Kosara, Miroslava and Gavril Radomir. All the best, --Biblbroks's talk 01:06, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes, the articles Agatha, wife of Samuel and Kosara of Bulgaria refer to a same person! I don't know where the name Kosara is taken from, but the name of this women traditionally is given as Agatha in the history sources - see Vindobonensis historia.74! --Nauka (talk) 08:34, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

In contemporary Bulgaria, the name Agatha is popular as the name of the writer Agatha Christie. K. Ali 17:32, 27 January 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Karim Ali (talkcontribs)

Page name

edit

Since we know she was daughter of John Chryselios is there a reason this page name uses her husband to differentiate her and not her family name? 50.37.124.206 (talk) 21:11, 24 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

The article makes clear that her being a daughter of Chryselios is not 100% certain, and at any rate, the family name is nowhere attested in connection with her. The only secure family link is her husband. Constantine 21:28, 24 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Agatha, wife of Samuel of BulgariaAgatha (wife of Samuel of Bulgaria) – Not a royal title; must be parenthesized. Or maybe use Agatha, Empress of Bulgaria instead. George Ho (talk) 19:32, 6 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
