Plot summaries

I've been reading the WP summaries of all the series from the beginning. With this plot summary I am completely lost. It gives too much detail with little context about the issues. Much less detail with more overview would shorten it and make it more coherent. The summary of the previous book was also poor, but this is hopeless.
