Rachel Corbett (April 25, 2018). "Adrian Piper Didn't Like Her Wikipedia Page—So She Built a Subversive New One From Scratch". Artnet News. Retrieved April 25, 2018. In 2013, the artist Adrian Piper decided she didn't like her Wikipedia page. It was full of inaccuracies, she felt, and fell far beneath the editorial standards of a "real" encyclopedia or an academic journal...Piper took it upon herself to build her own "Wikipedia" page on her website. The "removed and reconstructed" article looks identical to a traditional Wikipedia entry, but with a few telling differences.

It seems this article was once deleted on Adrian Piper's request. Why was it allowed to be recreated a few months later? From her own linked page, she does not seem pleased about this. KarlFrei (talk) 14:14, 6 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Because articles are pretty much never deleted on the individuals request: it's not up to them. She is a higlhy notable artist, there should definitely be an article on her. 92.3.155.60 (talk) 13:54, 25 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
