Requested move 29 July 2016

edit
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Move unopposed. (non-admin closure) — Andy W. (talk ·ctb) 21:50, 11 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Youth healthAdolescent health – While both terms may often be interchangeably used, per both Google nGram and a plain Google search, "adolescent health" yields more than three times the hits of "youth health". Being more specific as well, it is set apart more clearly from Children's health. Note that, of course, Youth health would be kept as a redirect. -- PanchoS (talk) 21:56, 29 July 2016 (UTC) --Relisting.JFG talk 15:09, 10 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • @JFG: Procedural comment. Per Jenks24, requested moves without feedback can generally be moved as unopposed per judgment by closer, since moves are easily undoable and possibly encourage further discussion. I'm closing this as unopposed. — Andy W. (talk ·ctb) 21:49, 11 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Add A Fact: "Rising HIV rates among youth"

edit

I found a fact that might belong in this article. See the quote below

Adolescents and young people represent a growing share of people living with HIV worldwide. In 2023 alone, 360,000 [240,000-480,000] young people between the ages of 15 to 24 were newly infected with HIV, of whom 140,000 [39,000-240,000] were adolescents between the ages of 15 and 19.

The fact comes from the following source:

https://data.unicef.org/topic/hivaids/adolescents-young-people/

Additional comments from user: In order to ramp up our efforts in the fight against AIDS, there is a need for more concentrated focus on adolescents and young people
