Hopefully to return in 2016
editBecause it's not confirmed yet, I'm not modifying the article yet, but it is hoped to return in 2016, "owned" by Greg Mackie again: Washington, David (2015-09-04). "Festival of Ideas saved by its founder". InDaily. Solstice Media.
Conflicts of interest
editI've just reinstated the COI tag to highlight the major revision of the article in August 2016 by User:Iansnib (who had stated in his first edit summary "I am on the Board of AFOI Inc and have had a major role in running the AFOI since 2009") - see the discussion on his talkpage that took place then. In particular, this edit removed sourced content. I've also personally spoken with Greg Mackie (whom I've met on a number of occasions in his role as CEO of the History Trust of South Australia) about this, and he's happy to acknowledge that others also played leading roles in getting the festival established.
