NPOV

Parsa and myself have been have been placing the NPOV tags on the cards. See the talk page at Talk:The World (Tarot card) Since tarot cards were not designed for the occult, the placement of "occult" stub tags does constitute POV and ignores tarot's gaming heritage. These individual card pages offer nothing more than occult speculations and perhaps should be deletedSmiloid 00:54, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Card game stub??

I feel this page (and the many others that relate to the tarot cards) are not specifically "card game" stubs. Craw-daddy 23:12, 3 April 2007 (UTC) Tarot cards are playing cards. The coins suit is part of Latin suited playing card deck. The Tarot does not really have its own special suit symbol. A traditional Tarot will have Italian suits and a more modern one will have French suits.Smiloid 07:49, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

What more is there to add here that would lead to the removal of the "stub" tag? Is there a special meaning for the Ace of Cups in tarot card games? As far as I understand (and am not an expert on tarot card games), about the only individual card that carries a particular significance is The Fool. The article clearly points out that tarot cards are used in card games. What more do you want to add here? I wasn't trying to promote a bias. I merely question what more would turn this page from a "card game stub" article into something that would merit the removal of the stub tag. Is there anything that you would suggest here? Also, wouldn't it be better to not add the "card-game-stub" tag, and instead use the [[Category:Tarot card games]] category to classify these articles? (Especially since I think they will never be expanded further as I've stated above.) Craw-daddy 09:59, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

I've added the [[Category:Playing cards]] tag and removed the {{card game stub}} tag from this article, as well as the (empty) section entitled "Game Usage". Is this satisfactory? Craw-daddy 12:44, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Merge to Suit of Coins

Many of the suit articles seem to be thin on information and I think Smiloid raises a key point above so I am suggesting merging this article with Suit of coins Tetron76 (talk) 15:40, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
