Logo dispute
editThis is currently a dispute about the use of which logo is used by this channel, so I am bringing it to the talk page to resolve this matter.
We have to go by the evidence that is before us. There is currently no evidence that proves the 'new' logo is in use. Currently all evidence points to the 'old' being used. Ethnic Channels Group has updated their website since 2006, in fact, they have updated their website in the past number of months; for example it has removed Tonis from its website because that channel has shut down and it has updated the name and logo for FTV because it had re-branded from The Mabuhay Channel. So this shows that the company updates its website when necessary. Another point mentioned was that the originating channel from the United Arab Emirates currently uses the 'new' logo. That is true however that does not mean the Canadian channel uses the same logo. There are a number of examples proving that a Canadian channel doesn't need to adopt the foreign logo at all or at least right away. For example, Discovery Channel took months to update its logo to match the Aerican channel, Discovery Health Canada doesn't use the same logo as its American counterpart.
All evidence points to the 'old' logo in use, so we have to go by what is presented to us. 99.253.251.176 (talk) 14:57, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
