The Apsar is NOT a circulating currency at all. What is being issued by the 'Bank of Abkhazia' are medal-coins only. - (202.89.140.54 (talk) 02:15, 12 April 2010 (UTC))Reply

Use of Ҧ instead of Ԥ

Does anyone know why the banknotes are using Ҧ instead of Ԥ? The Wikipedia page on the Abkhaz alphabet, as well as the pages on both these characters mention that the latter replaced the former from 1996.
