- Thanks :) Ech-Chenna is an alternative surname, but I haven't been able to find whether it's a married name or something else. Hopefully it's clearer now. IgnorantArmies (talk) 04:50, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
- I am no expert but I'm pretty certain it's the same surname, where Ech-Chenna reflects something like local pronunciation more closely while Āʾiša aš-Šannā reflects Classical Arabic. 151.177.56.148 (talk) 12:36, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
