List of members
edit@Dhruv edits @Dev Adhi Pinging you two as you had updated 2017 Goa Legislative Assembly election. I believe the members had shifted their parties after election in 2017 and before the election in 2022. This article Seventh Goa Legislative Assembly should document those shifts. In my opinion, the list of MLAs in the result section of 2017 Goa Legislative Assembly election should not be changed as it was historical. Can you guys please confirm if the list of MLAs in the 2017 election article is correct according to the Election Commission results of 2017 election. Thank you. 10 Congress MLAs who shifted to BJP
edit@Dev Adhi @Dhruv edits [1] [2] In 2019, 10 MLAs had shifted from INC to BJP. I can find 9 of them and mentioned them in the list. Can you please help find the missing 10th MLA who jumped to BJP? Venkat TL (talk) 17:41, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- It was Atanasio Monserrate who got elected in 2019 by-polls from Panaji after the death of Manohar Parrikar. Dhruv edits (talk) 18:25, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- thank you @Dhruv edits. I updated the Panaji section. Venkat TL (talk) 20:20, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
String of resignations
editDo we need the section Seventh_Goa_Legislative_Assembly#At_the_end_of_Seventh_Assembly? At the end of the session, In Dec, January, the resignations are hardly consequential. Venkat TL (talk) 20:20, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Venkat TL I don't think they are needed. Resignations and defections just before the elections are pretty common and insignificant. Dhruv edits (talk) 02:38, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
- @Dhruv edits yes, I agree. I have changed it from table to bullet list of MLAs who resigned. I did not entirely remove it as it was sourced information and can be mentioned in the end section. Venkat TL (talk) 09:35, 18 March 2022 (UTC)
