Choo Choo Ch'Boogie
editJust sat down to read 700 Sundays by Billy Chrystal.
In it he writes that his Uncle and Louis Jordan co-wrote the song Choo Choo Cha Boogie.
This is incorrect. Louis Jordan was the first performer to perform Choo Choo Cha Boogie.
There were three writers, Vaughn Horgon, Denver Darling and Jim Meeks.
I'm just hoping to set the record straight. Denver Darling was my Grandfather and my Grandmother (Garnett Darling) has told me the story several times of the night that song was written...
Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sharon Spurlin (talk • contribs) 23:10, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Sharon. The more appropriate place to discuss the song's authorship would be on the talk page of the article about the song: Choo Choo Ch'Boogie. Cheers, GentlemanGhost (converse) 00:43, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
