All the Nominees

edit

Hi, Walter.

The issue here is format consistency. The changes to the "Alternative" section reflect the fact that this series of "Annual Awards" articles, for years, showed the winners only (including the vast majority of this 40th Grammy article). If someone wants to see all the nominees, they can click on the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album, or Grammy Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, or Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album link above the winner's name. Looks like some editors/fans of particular genres started adding the full list of nominees for their favorite genre, around the 37th article, and a few other fans later added the list for their own favorite category, leading to inconsistency in the articles. "Pop" is not more or less important than "Gospel", it just seems to have attracted some extra effort from editors who love "Pop" music. The article should be consistent, across the article and across the consecutive years (37th Annual Grammys, 22nd Annual Grammys, etc.)

I look forward to your thoughts. Thanks. Jmg38 (talk) 23:43, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
