editI am surprised by the request for more reliable references for this article. I do not believe either of the cited reference publications would be considered a primary source. Both represent decades of research by authors as a sideline or hobby rather than a primary profession. While the subject is Italian, the authors are German and British; and their publications were several decades after the reported events. I would value additional opinions by editors familiar with the subject matter and the references involved.Thewellman (talk) 06:19, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
