The "Impossible" Clues

edit

I wasn't a big fan of 3-2-1, but I do remember seeing an episode in which even the host agreed the clues were... not very helpful. The contestants were trying to decide which prize to go with, when Ted Rogers actually said to them something like:
"well, the rhymes could mean anything, as you know".
I've added it to the article, but also included a "citation needed" tag as, while I remember it happening, I don't know in which episode it occurred...

Prizes: "cheap and tacky" or appropriate value for 1979 ?

edit

The article currently says: "3–2–1 was famous for its cheap and tacky prizes".
I've added "citation needed": While the prizes may seem "cheap" and less than alluring *today*, were they judged so at the time ?

Not forgetting that when 3-2-1 was on TV there was a legal limit to the value of the prizes TV shows could give away — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.161.240.7 (talk) 22:22, 8 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Unless "cheap and tacky" is quoted as someone's opinion, it doesn't belong in an encyclopedic article because it is a subjective phrase. As such, I've rewritten the content. Leave it up to the reader to decide if a dog or dust bin is a "cheap and tacky" prize. Pinkadelica 22:56, 8 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Number of specials?

edit

The sidebar at the top of the article says there were 8 specials but the list towards the bottom of the article has nine entries. --bodnotbod (talk) 19:04, 14 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Tammy cline

edit

Why isn’t my mum Tammy Cline listed as an act. She was on the country and western episode. 2A00:23EE:1530:9750:8CB6:C39A:4BD1:C2C4 (talk) 18:02, 15 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ceramic Dusty Bin

edit

In the article it says:

"Unlike the eliminated couples, the winning couple did not receive a ceramic Dusty Bin, unless they had Dusty at the end of the show, all they got was a brand new dustbin, the money they won in part one and a ceramic Dusty Bin."

I assume it means that you didn't get a ceramic dusty bin if you won one of the good prizes? Could be explained a bit better though. 86.187.173.112 (talk) 00:12, 10 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
