The result of the move request was: No move. However, I feel confident that this will gain traction in the reasonable near future. Just give it some time and put in another RM then. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:43, 2 October 2022 (UTC)
Hudson's Bay Centre → 2 Bloor East – With the closure of the anchor Hudson's Bay store earlier this year, the property has been rebranded 2 Bloor East. The website http://www.hudsonbaycentre.com/ now redirects to a page titled 2 Bloor East operated by Brookfield Properties, which owns the building. 199.7.157.76 (talk) 23:36, 16 September 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! - Oppose We use WP:COMMONNAME not official names, per WP:OFFICIALNAME use the common name. Please show that in less than 1 year, people in Toronto have changed what they refer to this place. -- 65.92.247.226 (talk) 06:07, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
- Comment using the old name would be absurd and misleading given that there is no longer a Hudson's Bay (department store) present in the centre. The remaining Hudson's Bay store still in downtown Toronto is several blocks away. Also, all signage referring to the building as the Hudson's Bay Centre had been removed. Lastly, the building is not iconic and most people don't refer to it at all or would just refer to it as Yonge and Bloor (the intersection where it's located). 199.119.233.178 (talk) 14:17, 25 September 2022 (UTC)
- Comment furthermore, a Google search of "2 Bloor East" shows the name is in common usage (and was widely used even before the name change)[1] 199.119.233.178 (talk) 14:26, 25 September 2022 (UTC)

Hudson's Bay Centre → 2 Bloor East – The Hudson's Bay anchor store at Yonge and Bloor (2 Bloor East) closed almost two years ago, the Hudson's Bay signage has been removed and since then the building has been known as "2 Bloor East" officially as well it is commonly referred to as either that or by its address "2 Bloor Street East". Continuing to call this building "Hudson's Bay Centre" is especially confusing as the remaining Hudson's Bay store in Toronto is actually several blocks south at Yonge and Queen (see Hudson's Bay Queen Street). - Comment - It may well be time. Do we have any data that says it is more commonly referred to by the proposed title? - UtherSRG (talk) 18:10, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- Support I checked The Internet Archive, Google, Google News, and Google Streetview. I did not see anything that said Hudson Bay Centre outside the building. I did find this website that called it the Hudson Bay Centre but the link for the centre [2]http://www.hudsonbaycentre.com/ redirects you to another site that calls it 2 Bloor East.
