Parties in candidates list
editOnly PARTIES shall be added because independent candidates can be more than one in a constituency WikiEdits2003 (talk) 17:12, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
Also not all parties are needed to be added in candidates list WikiEdits2003 (talk) 17:12, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

editDear @WikiEdits2003,
Please refer to Wikipedia's Featured Articles on Elections before deleting texts and citations from this page. Some of them are here: 1880 United States presidential election, 2010 United States Senate Democratic primary election in Pennsylvania, 1951 Philadelphia municipal election, 1950 United States Senate election in California, 1899 United States Senate election in Pennsylvania, 1899 Kentucky gubernatorial election, 1898 United States Senate elections in Ohio, Keldholme Priory election dispute, 1880 United States presidential election, 1789 Virginia's 5th congressional district election. Election-related pages are not merely about tables with candidates and dates. They chart the entire chronology of important events related to the concerned elections.
Your reasons for deleting cited materials from the page, i.e. party's internal matters, and only necessary information needed, contravenes the page as a repository for transparency in elections. In addition, when you delete material from one section suggesting that it should be added elsewhere, you refrain from doing it yourself. This makes it difficult to revert some changes as the page is highly active at present. This page is important to Wikipedia:WikiProject Nagaland and your constant changes hampers its quality.
@Qwerfjkl, @Tinucherian, @GDibyendu, @FlyJet777, @The Anonymous Earthling, could you please have a look at the edits on the page and provide feedback. Others are welcome too.

Deleted
editWhy you deleted the Janata Dal United candidates name MR.10,14,2006 (talk) 03:07, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
- @MR.10,14,2006 There are many parties contesting the election. Candidates of all parties cannot be added. Candidates of only those parties are added that are a major contender in the election as per WP:RS. Dhruv edits (talk) 06:59, 22 February 2023 (UTC)

editHello @FlyJet777:. Thanks for adding the results of the elections. Could you add the source you used, though? So that the result table can be updated and completed. Cordially. Aréat (talk) 16:28, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
