Play off dates

edit

Play off dates are not confirmed. The dates people are entering are just the international window dates. Some unreliable sources are quoting these dates as THE dates. FIFA requires clubs to release players 4 days before games. None of these games will take place on 6 November as players will have to miss club games...likely dates for first leg are more like Thursday 9th. But like I said, until negotiated between participants, arrangements made and officially announced dates should not be entered..ClubOranjeT 06:14, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

However, there are still official sources that suggest the playoff window of the period between 6–14 November as possible dates for the matches. Per these sources, I have added this window back into the tables. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 06:23, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
yes that is true, and I'm happy with your edit, which is what I had previously changed it to before, after I ran into someone who hade booked Monday 6th off work based on what it said in Wikipedia! ClubOranjeT 06:36, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
I think 14 November has been confirmed for Australia v Honduras due to the travel requirements on the journeys from Concacaf to Australia and then back to Europe. The FFA (supporter) site lists the date but no time (https://www.socceroos.com.au/). Clearly you are right about the 6th - no way the matches take from then. 9th has been mentioned in Australian press but that's not a confirmation. 58.107.67.219 (talk) 08:19, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Return leg could feasibly be 13th. We need to wait until official sources confirm the date. ClubOranjeT 10:00, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
The website listed is the Football Federation of Australia! 58.107.67.219 (talk) 10:10, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
FFA do not get to unilaterally decide the dates. They have also put TBC after their suggested dates. TBC stands for to be confirmed ' ClubOranjeT 21:19, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
I was recently made aware that the NZFF "confirmed" matchdays for their playoff against Peru. Yet I do not see FIFA adding this information. Nor the individual confederations (OFC and CONMEBOL). I have reverted these edits because New Zealand has no control over when their away match happens; this has to be decided by the Peru Football Federation, not New Zealand. Please do not make any changes until some sort of confirmation by FIFA arises. Thank you. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 02:25, 15 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
Appears now to be confirmed in multiple RS publications, so I have no objection to dates being listed now.[1] [2], [3],[4] ClubOranjeT 09:32, 15 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
