Will get to this once I have finished my review on Wrestle Kingdom 9. Good888 (talk) 08:12, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
- Since the review on Wrestle Kingdom 9 has finished, I will now review this. Good888 (talk) 13:58, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
Lead
- "Dale Earnhardt, Jr. finished second and Greg Biffle finished third." I would change the second finished to placed.
- "The race was scheduled for February 26 but heavy rain allowed it to be postponed until the next day." I would rewrite to ""The race was scheduled for February 26 but heavy rain forced the NASCAR officals to delay it until the next day"
- Amended.
- Can you link jet dryer?
- Yes, and is linked to glossary of motorsport terms because no standalone article of jet dryer exists.
Report
- "from five liters to two liters" No need for the second "liters".
- Removed second "Liters".
- "towards the car's fascia section." Link fascia.
- Done
- "Ryan Newman and Casey Mears decided to leave after the session." Reason?
- I could not find the reason in any sources.
- "After the session, Danica Patrick, Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. left the circuit after the session" Same as above. Also, no need for the second "after the session"
- Done
- "The next two on February 22 were for a shortened 90 minutes each." Suggest rewriting to: "The next two on February 22 were shortened to 90 minutes each"
- Amended
- "(who set a lap of 46.067)" Who set a laptime.
- I have corrected this to with a time of 46.067 and the driver's name is before the start of the parenthses.
- "Further rain throughout most of February 27, caused the race to start at 7:02 p.m. EST" Rewrite to: "Further rain throughout most of February 27, caused the race to be delayed until 7:02 p.m. EST"
- Done
- Can you link Central Baptist Church?
- Yes, but not for Central Baptist Church, Daytona Beach
- "had to move to the rear of the grid" Change rear to back.
- I would add an image of Montoya in the post-race section, due to the jet dryer crash.
- Done
- "Kenseth appeared in victory lane to celebrate his first victory of the season; the win earned him $1,588,887." In front of a crowd of 140,000?
- This information has been put in
Results
- Richard Petty Motorsports and Tommy Baldwin Racing were linked twice in the Qualifying table.
- Amended this issue
References
- Just checked with Checklinks, and found no problems.
Checked the Daytona 500, and it's fine. With that, I am placing on hold so that the issues can be sorted. Good888 (talk) 13:02, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
- @Good888: I have dealt with the issues raised, apart from why Newman and Mears left the track as there is no information why they did. Thank you anyway Z105space (talk) 14:44, 6 July 2015 (UTC)
Close - promoted
editSince all the issues have been addressed, I will promote this to GA status. Good work. Good888 (talk) 11:19, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
If something about the pace car should added
editI've notice where it says the first caution came out, it also says "and the pace car". Since I believe I all know that the pace car comes out whenever there's a caution, I don't think it should say that at all. Ptb1997 (talk) 17:36, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
