Notability
editI have flagged the article for notability due to the sources reporting the fighting at this border crossing but it not being recognized as a named "battle". This seems a good candidate to be merged instead of justifying its own stand alone article at this point in time. Fæ (talk) 04:58, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- Well, i see your point, but i'd like to request that we at least wait a little while, see how things go.Fancyflyboy (talk) 05:01, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Merge what two sentances there are with the main coastal offensive article and redirect the article. It's a non-notable event lasting less than an hour. Doesn't warrant an article. EkoGraf (talk) 17:02, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- Unless this becomes a full battle, I think "Ras Ajdir Clashes" might be more appropriate.--Yalens (talk) 19:53, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Not seeing a full battle at this point. EkoGraf (talk) 01:02, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- I have WP:BOLDly moved it to 2011 Ras Ajdir clashes. ~~ Lothar von Richthofen (talk) 15:05, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Attack on Aug 13?
editThis article states, like the article about the rebel coastal offensive, that there was an attack on August 13. However, both sources don't give any information about an attack, nor that it was repulsed using heavy weapons. 10 gunshots and another burst later isn't much of an attack, is it? 84.30.115.21 (talk) 08:27, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
