Location
editOn 29 July 2008, Mouras deleted references to the location of the quake, specially deleting the sentence "The epicenter was underneath the island of Rhodes near the village of Kattavia." Mouras added "epicentre 275 miles southeast of Athens, beneath the seabed south of Rhodes." The USGS coordinates (35.983°N, 27.785°E) place the earthquake under the island of Rhodes, while the Athens Institute of Geodynamics coordinates (35.85°N, 27.92°E) place it slightly to the south of the island. --Bejnar (talk) 18:50, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
