Do we have any Arabic sources that support al-Qaeda as the perpetrators of these attacks? This issue is highly contentious within Iraq. Population surveys show that most Iraqis believe Israel was responsible for the attacks. The only statements I can seem to find from al-Qaeda in Iraq and other jihadi groups in Iraq are denials and the only evidence against al-Qaeda seems to be statements made by US military officials reporting statements supposedly made by detained terror suspects.

If nothing else, the whole "Perpetrators" section descends into gibberish at the end and is totally wrong at the start. The Islamic State of Iraq is not a "al-Qaida front group" but an umbrella organization for insurgents in Iraq including al-Qaeda.
