Missing system?

This page from the Organization of American States has a table about midway through it. In the section Mexico is has several different hurricanes listed. Between Janet and Tara there is a gap that appears to indicate an unnamed hurricane. The table attributes 960 casualties to this mysterious unnamed tropical cyclone. It also indicates that it took place in October, 1960. The problem is, this mysterious system is not in the best track. The last named storm in the Atlantic was in September. In the Pacific, the only October systems were Hyacinth and perhaps the deleted Gwen. And yet a search through the hurricane archive for "Storm Gwen", "Hurricane Gwen", "Storm Hyacinth", and "Hurricane Hyacinth" reveals only a single hit from the wrong year. How does someone miss a tropical cyclone killing nearly 1000 people? Unless it was a tropical depression that did that, something does not add up here. The only mention of Hyacinth between 1959 and 1961 was in 1959; it is not this system. The only other possibility (which I just thought of) was that a some weather system that was not a tropical cyclone caused all these deaths, which subsequently got confused with the hurricane seasons. It's a typo. The storm is the 1959 Mexican hurricane. Here is the original source, which lists a storm with 960 deaths, occurring in October of 1959, placed right between Janet and Tara. ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 01:42, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned references in 1960 Atlantic hurricane season

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of 1960 Atlantic hurricane season's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
