Southwest Township is one of ten townships in Crawford County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 96 and it contained 38 housing units.[2]

There were 38 housing units at an average density of 2.52 per square mile (0.97/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 87.50% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 2.08% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 10.42% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.04% of the population.
