Sarah Posner is an American journalist and author. She is the author of two books about the American Christian right and has written for The American Prospect, The Guardian,[1] The Nation,[2] Salon, AlterNet, The Atlantic,[3] The Washington Spectator, VICE,[4] The Daily Beast,[5] The New Republic,[4] HuffPost,[4] Mother Jones,[6] Rolling Stone,[7] MSNBC[8] and The Washington Post[9] among other publications.[4] She was formerly a contributing writer for Religion Dispatches, writing on the intersection of religion and politics.[10]

Her second book, Unholy, was favorably reviewed by the National Catholic Reporter[11] and by writers at Wesleyan University[12] and Washington University in St. Louis.[13] Terry Gross interviewed Posner about her book on Fresh Air.[14]
