William "Rusty" Russell (born August 16, 1963) is an American former professional football player who was a tackle for one season with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the third round of the 1984 NFL draft.[1] He played college football at the University of South Carolina and attended Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in Orangeburg, South Carolina.[2] Russell was also a member of the Orlando Predators, Charlotte Rage and Florida Bobcats of the Arena Football League. He was named Second Team All-Arena in 1994.
