editIn historical records the village was first mentioned in 1414.
Demographics
editThe vast majority of the local population consists of the local Roma community. In 2019, they constituted an estimated 97% of the local population.[1]
Geography
editThe municipality lies at an altitude of 449 metres and covers an area of 14.297 km². It has a population of about 670 people.
