The Norfolk Island Liberal Party (Pitcairn-Norfolk: Norfuk Ailen Librel Paati), more commonly referred to simply as the Norfolk Liberals (Pitcairn-Norfolk: Norfuk Librels), is the Norfolk Island wing of the Liberal Party of Australia. It currently operates as the "Norfolk Island Interest Branch" of the Canberra Liberals.[2]

History
editThe Liberals won a single seat on the Norfolk Island Regional Council at the 2016 election. The party previously had representation on the Norfolk Island Legislative Assembly, which was dissolved in 2015.[citation needed]
At the 2015 status referendum, the party supported the "no" vote, which was ultimately unsuccessful.[3]
Liberal councillor Dave Porter had intended to contest the 2020 election prior to its cancellation.[4]
