Noel Maxam (born September 26, 1967)[1] is an American television director, writer, and producer.

Maxam is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy (diploma) in Interlochen, Michigan; Carnegie Mellon University (B.F.A. directing) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the University of Southern California (M.F.A. in film and video production) in Los Angeles, California.
Career
editHe worked as a writer on the CBS Daytime soap opera As the World Turns and later transitioned to The Young and the Restless soap opera where he introduced non-linear editing and high definition production. As associate producer, he managed post-production and directed for over ten years.
In 2007, Maxam left to work as a producer on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives where he was promoted to co-executive producer in 2011.
In 2012, he departed from Days and began freelancing as a director, also founding the company Emagispace. Since its inception, Maxam has advised other startups, most notably Pluto.tv which was acquired by Viacom in 2019.
As a freelancer, Maxam has directed for The Young and the Restless, Hollywood Heights, Days of Our Lives and Disney.
In 2023, Maxam returned to Days of Our Lives as the senior producer.
