Miss USA World 1962 was the first Miss USA World pageant, held at the Huntington Field House in Huntington, West Virginia, United States, on September 22, 1962.

Jo Ann Odum of West Virginia crowned Amedee Chabot of California as her successor at the end of the event. Chabot went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1962 Pageant in London later that year. She finished in the Top 8 at Miss World.[1]
