Micah Lasher is an American politician who is an incoming member of the New York General Assembly for district 69.

Life
editLasher was the chief of staff to the attorney general of New York and he worked in the Bloomberg administration.[1] From November 2021 to January 2024, he was the director of policy for New York governor Kathy Hochul.[1] As of 2024, Lasher has chaired the Riverside Park Conservancy for four years.[2] He won the Democratic primary in the 2024 New York State Assembly election for district 69 with 52.31 percent of the vote.[2] He is running unopposed in the November general election.[2] He succeeds Daniel J. O'Donnell.[2]
