May I Come In Madam? is a Hindi-language Indian sitcom. The first season aired on Life OK from 7 March 2016 to 25 August 2017.[1] A second season premiered on 26 September 2023 on Star Bharat.[2]

editThe first season of May I Come In Madam? was announced in February 2016.[3] It features Neha Pendse as Sanjana Hiteshi (Madam), Sandeep Anand as Sajan Agarwal (Sanju) and Sapna Sikarwar as Kashmira Agarwal and aired on Life OK from 7 March 2016 to 25 August 2017.
Season 2
editThe second season of May I Come In Madam? was announced in July 2023. Neha Pendse, Sandeep Anand and Sapna Sikarwar from the previous season reprised their roles and it premiered on Star Bharat on September 26, 2023.[4] to 20 January 2024
Plot
editMay I Come In Madam? is a Hindi sitcom that revolves around the life of a middle-class man, Sanjay (Sandeep Anand), who works as an assistant to his attractive and confident boss, Madam (Neha Pendse). Sanjay is completely infatuated with her, and his harmless flirtations become the central comedic element of the show. Despite being married to his wife, Kajal (Sapna Sikarwar, Sanjay constantly tries to impress Madam, leading to a series of funny, awkward, and sometimes embarrassing situations. His attempts to hide his feelings from his wife lead to misunderstandings at home, with Kajal often growing suspicious of his strange behavior, unaware of the true cause.
At work, Madam remains oblivious to Sanjay's affection, maintaining a professional distance, which adds to the humor as Sanjay's crush intensifies. The show plays on the contrast between Sanjay's goofy and love-struck nature and Madam's confident and authoritative demeanor. The comic situations often arise from Sanjay’s over-the-top efforts to win Madam’s attention, which never seem to work as planned, creating a cycle of amusing mishaps.

editThe producers of the show launched a sequel titled Excuse Me Maadam, which revolves around a similar concept and storyline, however changes were made in the cast as it features Rajesh Kumar as Sanam Harjayi, Nyra Banerjee as Sanam's boss and Sucheta Khanna as Sanam's caring wife.[5] Sapna Sikarwar and Anup Upadhyay are also part of the series. Anup Upadhyay portrays Adhu, who is Sanam's best friend and husband of his sister-in-law Amar, played by Sapna Sikarwar.[6]
