Maxwell Exsted (born 12 March 2007) is an American tennis player.[1][2] He won the boys' doubles event at the 2024 Australian Open.

Early and personal life
editFrom Savage, Minnesota, he started playing tennis at one year-old and by four years-old had won his first junior tennis tournament, in Chicago.[3] He relocated with father Chris and mother Jodi, to Miramar, Florida to train with private coach Courtney Scott as well as his USTA development coach Jon Glover at the USTA national campus in Orlando. He has a brother Alex and a sister Isabelle who both played collegiate tennis.[4]
Career
editWith Darwin Blanch and Jagger Leach, he was part of the American team which finished third at the 2023 Junior Davis Cup.[5]
He won the final of the junior doubles at the 2024 Australian Open alongside compatriot Cooper Woestendick.[6][7] The pair also won the Traralgon Junior International doubles competition together in January 2024.[8]
