Career

edit

Born in Manchester, Kaleta began his career with Manchester City, before he joined the Wolverhampton Wanderers academy, in 2020.[1] He signed his first professional contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers on 18 July 2022.[3]

After signing his deal, Kaleta featured for Wolverhampton Wanderers U21 in the EFL Trophy Group stage game against Port Vale in October 2022, as he replaced Harry Birtwistle in the 64th minute.[4]

In September 2023, Kaleta played the full 90 minutes in the EFL Trophy against Notts County, which resulted in a 2–1 for Wolves U21's.[5]

Two months later, in November 2023, Kaleta played 20 minutes as a substitute as he came on for Leon Chiwome in the 70th minute in 4–1 away defeat against Derby County, which was also an EFL Trophy game.[6]

On 15 July 2024, Kaleta joined Scottish Premiership club Motherwell on a season-long loan,[7] and he made his professional debut for the side on 28 July, coming on for Shane Blaney during a 0–0 draw against Partick Thistle in the Scottish League Cup. Partick Thistle would go onto win the Penalty shoot-out however.[8] He made his second appearance in the same competition the following month, coming on as a substitute once again, this time he replaced Zach Robinson in the 74th minute; as Motherwell beat Kilmarnock 1–0 in the knockout rounds.[9]
