Manbir Rai (Nepali: मानबीर राई) is a Nepalese politician, belonging to the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist). He is currently serving as the Minister of Defence in the Government of Nepal.[1][2][3][4] Rai is also serving as a member of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal. In the 2022 Nepalese general election, he won the election from Solukhumbu 1 (constituency).[5]
