edit

This Temple is located at a distance of 34 km from Kandukur on the Pamuru road in the south-west direction of Kandukur, Nellore district. It is a popular belief among the people in the surrounding areas that women who are childless and worship Sri Swami for three consecutive Saturdays with devotion and worship Sri Swami will have children. Not only in Nellore district but also across the state and from other states like Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, many devotees (childless) come to worship Sri Swami and get children. There are countless holy shrines on this Malyadri.[2]

The said temple has no historical evidence and no architectural wealth. Sri Swami is living in a naturally formed cave on top of a hill. In this temple, Sri Alvarula’s worship has taken place. There is no evidence related to this prestige. The special aspect of this temple is that it opens only on Saturdays for the darshan of Sri Swami. In this temple, the worship programs are conducted according to Pancharatra Agama.
