This list of the tallest buildings and structures in Southampton ranks skyscrapers and structures in Southampton, England. Only structures taller than 150 feet (46 m) are listed, although there are a further 17 towers in the city between 40m and 45m.

The city's tallest structures are the 130 metres (430 ft) container port cranes. The tallest inhabitable structure is the 262 feet (80 m) Moresby Tower, although several others are planned that will exceed this.[1]

This lists proposals for the construction of buildings in Southampton that were planned to rise at least 45 metres (148 ft), which were rejected, never materialised or which were otherwise withdrawn. Also includes buildings On Hold for more than 5 years.

1 Museum of The City Museum/Observation Tower 140 459 6 2006 The edge of the building would have had a ride running on it lifting capsules up one side, over the pinnacle to heights around that of the London Eye. Inside was going to be a new Museum on Southampton featuring exhibits on the cities history such as the development, construction and testing of the Spitfire, Southampton town walls, the Mayflower, Southampton Blitz, Titanic and Viking and Saxon history. There was set to be an observation platform near the top that open 24 hours a day. There is currently a £3million Spitfire memorial planned in its place.[25][26][27]
2 Southampton Ice Rink Leisure and residential 110 361 28 2007 Situated in Charlotte Place and St Mary's Road, the £80 million mixed use scheme would have featured a residential tower plus retail and leisure facilities including two sports halls and an Olympic ice rink with a capacity of 1,200 spectators.[28]
